ALSON (GER) (Aerion {Ger}-Assisi {Ger}, by Galileo {Ire})

Andre Fabre's new recruit Alson races as a homebred for Corinna Baronin Von Ullman of Gestut Schlenderhan. He has plenty of Classic pointers in his pedigree, being a half-brother to the 2018 G2 German 2000 Guineas winner Ancient Spirit (Ger) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) and a grandson of G1 German Oaks winner Amarette (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}). The third dam Avocette (Ger) (King's Lake) also won the German Guineas. Amarette and Avocette both raced as homebreds for Gestut Schlenderhan.

THE SUMMIT (FR) (Wootton Bassett {GB}-Acola {Fr}, by Acatenango {Ger})

The Summit was a €16,000 find by Paul Nataf at Arqana's October yearling sale in 2018, purchased from breeder Jedburgh Stud. His dam Acola was no standout on the racecourse but she has proven useful in the breeding shed; in addition to this G3 Prix Fontainebleau winner she has left the listed-placed One One One (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}).

CELESTIN (FR) (Dabirsim {Fr}-Celesteville {Ire}, by Elusive City)

Celestin was offered at Arqana's October yearling sale but led out unsold at €10,000. He now races as a homebred for Ecurie Normandie Pur Sang, which also owns the sire. Last year's stakes-winning juvenile Flippa The Strippa (Ire) (Outstrip {GB}) is out of a half-sister to Celestin's dam, while their third dam is the excellent producer Fragrant Hill (GB) (Shirley Heights {GB}), the dam of five stakes winners including Group 1 winners Fragrant Mix (Ire) (Linamix {Fr}) and Alpine Rose (Fr) (Linamix {Fr}). Celesteville's full-sister to Celestin was sold for €5,500 at last year's Baden-Baden yearling sale.

SHINNING OCEAN (FR) (Dabirsim {Fr}-Shimmering Sands {Fr}, by Medicean {GB})

Making it a double in this Classic for owner Ecurie Normandie Pur Sang and their sire Dabirsim is Shinning Ocean, who is unexposed off an eye-catching conditions win at ParisLongchamp on May 11 and who makes a sizeable jump in class. Ecurie Normandie Pur Sang picked up the first foal out of the unplaced Shimmering Sands for €8,000 at Arqana's v2 yearling sale. B-T De La Heronniere

VICTOR LUDORUM (IRE) (Shamardal-Antiquities {GB}, by Kaldounevees {Fr})

French champion 2-year-old and race favourite Victor Ludorum races as a third generation homebred for Godolphin. He is interestingly inbreed 3×3 to the great mare Helen Street, who is his third dam as well as being the second dam of his sire Shamardal. Helen Street is also the dam of Street Cry (Ire) and the fourth dam of this season's anticipated first-season sire Territories (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}). Victor Ludorum is out of the French listed-placed Antiquities who is also the dam of the listed-winning and G1 Irish Oaks third Mary Tudor (Ire) (Dawn Approach {Ire}). Antiquities has a 2-year-old colt by New Approach (Ire) named Ages Of Man (Ire) and a yearling filly by Invincible Spirit.

KENWAY (FR) (Galiway {GB}-Kendam {Fr}, by Kendargent {Fr})

A Guy Pariente product through and through, being by his young sire Galiway out of a homebred daughter of his ascendant star Kendargent, Kenway was bred by the Haras de Colleville principal and sold for €56,000 to current owner Haras de la Gousserie at Arqana August. Kenway is the second foal out of the G3 Prix Eclipse winner and G1 Prix de la Foret third Kendam.

ARAPAHO (FR) (Lope De Vega {Ire}-Alzubra {GB}, by Dansili {GB})

Arapaho was bred by Elisabeth Fabre's Ecurie Peregrine and made his three-length winning debut in her colors before showing up in John Magnier's silks next out for a conditions win at Deauville last July. The recent Listed Prix du Pont Neuf victor is the first foal out of the Listed Prix Dahlia victress Alzubra, who has a 2-year-old filly by Kendargent named Alula Borealis (Fr) and a yearling colt by Almanzor (Fr).

RESHABAR (FR) (Iffraaj {GB}-Rait {Ire}, by Tamayuz {GB})

Reshabar was bred by Concept Real and races in the colours of Erich Schwaiger. He is the first foal out of the winning Rait, a half-sister to the G3 Nell Gwyn S. winner and triple Group 1-placed Nathra (Ire) (Iffraaj {GB}). The third dam produced the G1 July Cup winner Owington (GB) (Green Desert) and it is also the family of the G1 Keeneland Phoenix S. winner Dick Whittington (Ire) (Rip Van Winkle {Ire}).

ECRIVAIN (FR) (Lope De Vega {Ire}-Sapphire Pendant {Ire}, by Danehill Dancer {Ire})

Ecrivain races as a homebred for Wertheimer et Frere and is typically blueblooded. Out of the G3 Derrinstown Stud One Thousand Guineas Trial second Sapphire Pendant, he is a half-brother to the listed placed Starifique (Ire) (Sea The Stars {Ire}). The third dam is the dual Grade I winner and blue hen mare Blush With Pride (Blushing Groom {Fr}), whose legacy includes Grade/Group 1 producers Better Than Honour and Peeping Fawn. Sapphire Pendant was bred by Barronstown Stud and purchased by the Coolmore partners as a yearling before later being bought by Wertheimer et Frere for 480,000gns at Tattersalls December in 2012.

SIMEEN (FR) (Lope De Vega {Ire}-Samadrisa {Ire}, by Oasis Dream {GB})

The Aga Khan's unbeaten Simeen is the first foal out of a winning half-sister to Sarafina (Fr) (Refuse To Bend {Ire}), who was European champion 3-year-old filly and the winner of the G1 Prix de Diane and two other Group 1s for the same owner/breeder. Samadrisa has a 2-year-old filly by Teofilo (Ire) and a yearling colt by Fastnet Rock (Aus).

TROPBEAU (GB) (Showcasing {GB}-Frangipanni {Ire}, by Dansili {GB})

Bred by Lord Margadale, race favourite Tropbeau was a 60,000gns yearling purchase from the Highclere Stud draft at Book 2 of Tattersalls October by Willie Browne, who pinhooked her for €180,000 at Arqana last year, where she was bought by Charlie Gordon-Watson on behalf of Lady Bamford. Tropbeau is the second foal out of Frangipanni, a daughter of the G1 July Cup victress Frizzante (GB) (Efisio {GB}) who has a 2-year-old colt by Iffraaj (GB) named Toussarok (GB) and a yearling colt by Postponed (GB).

TICKLE ME GREEN (GER) (Sea The Moon {Ger}-Tickle Me Pink {GB}, by Groom Dancer)

Like her G1 Deutsches Derby-winning sire Sea The Moon, Tickle Me Green races as a homebred for Heike Bischoff-Lafrentz of Gestut Gorlsdorf. The dam, Tickle Me Pink, was picked up by Bischoff-Lafrentz for just 18,000gns at Tattersalls July in 2008 and has since produced the German listed winner Tickle Me Blue (Ger) (Iffraaj {GB}) and three other stakes-placed horses including Tickle Me Green. Tickle Me Pink's half-sister Irresistible (GB) (Cadeaux Genereux {GB}) has also done plenty to boost the family in the interim as the dam of Cheveley Park Stud's Group 3-winning and outstanding young producer Infallible (GB) (Pivotal {GB}) and the second dam of G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest victor Garswood (GB).

MARIETA (FR) (Siyouni {Fr}-Macarella {Ire}, by Shamardal)

A homebred for Cuadra Mediterraneo, Marieta is the second foal and second stakes-placed winner out of Macarella, who has a 2-year-old colt by Shalaa (Ire) and a yearling filly by Dabirsim (Fr). It is the family of the G1 Prix de l'Opera winner Satwa Queen (Fr) (Muhtathir {GB}).

MAGEVA (GB) (Wootton Bassett {GB}-Melilot {Fr}, by Elusive City)

Selected by Hubert Guy from the Fairway Consignment for €75,000 at Arqana's August yearling sale, Mageva is the first foal out of the placed Melilot, who has a 2-year-old filly by Outstrip (GB) named Iris James (Fr) and a yearling filly by Zelzal (Fr) named Jeepsy James (Fr). It is the extended family of Italian Group 1 winner and sire Linngari (Ire).

DESOBEISSANCE (IRE) (Kodiac {GB}-Collada {Ire}, by Desert Prince {Ire})

Desobeissance, who broke her maiden on May 21, is no stranger to the sales ring. Plucked from the Ballybin Stud draft by Cheval Invest for €58,000 as a foal at Goffs November, she was offered by Honore at Arqana August and fetched €77,000 from Mark Dwyer's Oaks Farm Stable. Back in the ring at the Deauville breeze-up sale the following May, Desobeissance was knocked down to Oceanic Bloodstock for €75,000 and now dons the silks of Bernard Giraudon. Desobeissance is out of the unplaced Collada, herself a half-sister to the G3 Horris Hill S. winner Clearing (GB) (Zafonic) and a granddaughter of the GI Sorority S. victress Sunny Bay (Northern Bay). DREAM AND DO (IRE) (Siyouni {Fr}-Venetias Dream {Ire}, by Librettist)

Dream And Do carries the colours of her breeder Haras du Logis Saint Germain, having been led out unsold at €80,000 at Arqana August. Dream And Do is the first foal out of her dam and boasts a deep pedigree. Venetias Dream is a half-sister to the dam of triple Group 1-winning miler and sire Charm Spirit (Ire) while her fourth dam Ciboulette can lay claim to a dynasty that includes the likes of Fanfreluche, La Voyageuse, Holy Roman Emperor (Ire) and many other stakes winners.

YOMOGI (FR) (Zoffany {Ire}-Desert Red {Ire}, by Green Desert)

Bred by Fair Salinia and Anna Sundstrom, Yomogi was scooped up by Daniel Cole for €6,000 at Arqana October and carries the silks of Shinji Okamoto. She is the first foal out of her placed dam, who is a half to the stakes-winning Whatdoiwantthatfor (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}). Her fourth dam is Sam-Son Farm's blue hen producer Rainbow Connection (Halo), whose legacy includes the American champion 2-year-old filly and GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies winner Tempera (A.P. Indy).

MY LOVE'S PASSION (Elvstroem {Aus}-Amber Two {GB}, by Cadeaux Genereux {GB})

Bred by Pat Chedeville, My Love's Passion was offered at Arqana October by Petit Tellier-which also stands the sire Elvstroem–and purchased by Yann Barberot on behalf of Passion Racing Club for €10,000. She is the fifth foal out of the mare, who has a 2-year-old daughter of Prince Gibraltar (Fr) named Antolya (Fr).

SPEAK OF THE DEVIL (FR) (Wootton Bassett {GB}-Moranda {Fr}, by Indian Rocket {GB})

Speak Of The Devil was bought by Ghislain Bozo's Meridian International for €45,000 as a foal at Arqana December before trainer Fabrice Chappet scooped her up for €62,000 from the Etreham consignment at Arqana October as a yearling. Campaigned by Rashit Shaykhutdinov, Speak Of The Devil is a half-sister to King Power's triple Group 3 winner Morando (Fr) (Kendargent {Fr}). The mare's most recent reported foal is a yearling colt by Almanzor (Fr).

EMOJI (GER) (Soldier Hollow {GB}-Exotic Rose {Ger}, by Manduro {Ger})

Emoji carried the colours of Karl-Heinz Schultze for her debut at Baden-Baden last October and was purchased privately by Team Valor International and transferred to Francis Graffard in France after winning by 14 lengths. Her dam Exotic Rose is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Enzio (Ger) (Next Desert {Ire}).

ELLERSLIE LACE (FR) (Siyouni {Fr}-Indiana Wells {Fr}, by Sadler's Wells)

Ellerslie Lace races as a homebred for Berend Van Dalfsen. Should she break her maiden in this Classic, Ellerslie Lace would become the first winner for her dam Indiana Wells, who is a half-sister to Group 1 winner and sire Turtle Bowl (Ire). The third dam, Kamiya (Fr) (Kalamoun {GB}), has been a very productive producer, her line including the German and French Group 1 winner Kartajana (Ire), Italian champion Khariyda (Fr), G1 Prix de Diane victress Caerlina (Ire) and G1 Prix Jacques le Marois winner and young sire Al Wukair (Ire).
